On June 26, 'MeiDay', an application built exclusively for construction site workers, was officially released on the Android Play Store and the iOS App Store. It is the second mobile app Meissa has distributed since 'Meissa Lite', which launched last October. This time, rather than an app for platform project participants, it is an app for the actual workers on site.
The real-time safety of on-site workers
is the top priority
Meissa Lite is, as its name suggests, a lightweight mobile version of the 'Meissa Platform'. It is designed to enhance the functions that users need when they are out at the work site as managers or participants belonging to a 'site project' on the platform. That is why it was first released with the drawing overlay feature, reflecting the needs of actual platform users.
MeiDay, by contrast, is an app for the actual on-site workers whose members change day by day, with the 'real-time safety of workers' as its top priority. Accordingly, beyond zone information closely tied to safety, it is designed to exclude as much as possible any information that could cause confusion in work. At the same time, through features such as push notifications when entering safety zones and the immediate transmission of worker rescue requests, it is expected to enable proactive safety monitoring between the site and the office.
In addition, with regard to worker information, which is currently handled with great sensitivity, it is designed to maintain the same level of security as before through a check-in system that excludes sensitive information and forced logout after the workday ends.

Beyond MeiDay, Meissa is researching and preparing to release features such as CCTV video overlays on drone maps, AI-powered disaster detection, and an automatic drone dispatch system for emergencies. The aim is to overcome the limitations of conventional safety management, which had no choice but to rely on manpower and CCTV, and to integrate fragmented IoT safety modules within a single platform.
As a platform specialized in spatial information, the Meissa Platform focuses on problems that can be solved through spatial information when it comes to safety, and it plans to advance into a practically useful and effective safety management solution through collaboration and discussion with countless on-site practitioners.
