Meissa, the integrated smart construction platform, has secured investment from KAI (Korea Aerospace Industries).

KAI is a leading Korean defense company with a manufacturing foundation, producing multipurpose practical satellites such as the well-known Arirang 1 through 7, military reconnaissance satellites, launch vehicles, and aircraft. Meissa is a startup driving innovation toward the smart construction era through the Meissa platform, built on its in-house drone data analysis engine (3D Reconstruction).

Together with KAI, Meissa plans to advance the drone data analysis engine it has used in the construction industry and to expand into AI-based satellite imagery analysis, securing a key part of the value chain of the private space industry known as "NewSpace."

This investment is significant in that Meissa becomes part of the private-sector-led space industry era, and the company plans to actively apply the experience and technology gained in that process to the construction industry as well.

For the past three years, Meissa has worked hard to innovate construction sites. And going forward, we will not slacken our efforts to leap beyond a drone data platform into a smart construction platform.
