Meissa Lite in action
Meissa Lite is a mobile app for Android OS and iOS that enhances collaboration and communication
on construction sites. It captures the real-time location of every member who carries a smartphone with Meissa Lite installed,
and based on this information, it builds a safety net across the site.
Korea's only all-in-one construction drone data platform
Until now, Meissa has continuously explored what service could lead smart construction innovation as a drone data platform specialized for construction sites. As a result, we developed proprietary technology comparable to leading overseas 3D Reconstruction engines such as Pix4D and Metashape, and were able to deliver an organically integrated service spanning a drone-control mobile app that handles drone data collection in-house and a cloud platform that puts that data to use.

This laid the groundwork for fully automating drone flight while also earning recognition for reducing dependence on foreign technology and increasing the usability of analysis results. Furthermore, by combining other core technologies such as IoT and BIM, the Meissa platform holds unlimited potential for feature expansion and is making a major contribution to improving productivity on construction sites.
Full-scale use of an IoT network through smartphones
Whereas the focus until now has been on precisely digitizing sites and putting that to use, we now plan to accelerate the adoption of ICT technology on construction sites in earnest, increasing its use in communication between the site and headquarters, especially in the area of safety monitoring. And the IoT service that will play the central role on the Meissa platform is precisely Meissa Lite.

On a large construction site where multiple processes proceed simultaneously and workers from various trades are spread throughout, grasping members' real-time locations is the most fundamental function for safety monitoring. And the device that has all the core functions needed to utilize IoT data, such as GPS and wireless internet, built in is precisely the smartphone. Through an application, all of the functions the device possesses can be actively used, and it has the advantage that most members already own one. Personal location can be transmitted and received through a simple procedure, and features such as PUSH notifications on the platform can be used without any separate equipment.
Meissa Lite's current key features
- Transmitting and receiving locations among members in the same project
- Viewing your location displayed on the up-to-date orthophoto of the ongoing site
- Orthophoto and drawing overlays viewable on mobile
Combining drone data and IoT data, toward a safety monitoring platform
With Meissa Lite, which adds IoT data to the all-in-one drone data platform composed of Meissa Flight, Meissa Engine, and the Meissa platform, Meissa has now laid all the cornerstones needed for safety monitoring and enhanced communication on construction sites. Rather than the maps provided by existing portals or satellite imagery with long update cycles, real-time dynamic data positioned on orthophotos that faithfully capture current site conditions can be viewed anywhere in the world, enabling intuitive collaboration. In addition, Meissa is currently discovering and developing various core technologies for use in on-site safety monitoring, and it always remains open to new feature suggestions and research as it advances its integrated smart-construction platform.
